At the Mansueto Institute, we’re committed to turning innovative urban research into real-world impact. Our community engagement initiatives bring cutting-edge tools and insights directly to Chicago residents, empowering them with knowledge to navigate complex urban systems.

We regularly participate in local housing expos, connecting face-to-face with community members. At these events, we are listening to community members to learn what tools would benefit them in navigating the urban housing landscape, on housing affordability issues like property taxes and assessment.
