Tatjana Washington is a climate change modeler with a passion for understanding how climate change drives temperature shifts and extreme weather impacts on vulnerable ecosystems. She has over three years of experience studying the Himalayas in India, as well as conducting research in urban environments. As a current PhD candidate in Evolutionary Biology, Tatjana collaborates with the Field Museum to analyze historical climate data and predict future climate change scenarios. Her professional background spans government roles at the US Fish and Wildlife Service and USGS, as well as academic research. Tatjana is a recipient of the NSF GRFP and has secured over $150,000 in grants and scholarships for her graduate work. Now, Tatjana is using her scientific expertise to focus on climate tech and clean energy startups, aiming to drive innovation and secure VC-backed investments in the clean energy sector.
