
Andrés Felipe Camacho
MS candidate in Computational Analysis and Public Policy, Harris School of Public Policy
Andrés Felipe Camacho is pursuing the MS in Computational Analysis and Public Policy (MSCAPP) at the University of Chicago. He brings over a decade of experience using data to drive research and policy impact, particularly in education and criminal justice. Most recently, he worked as a Senior Spatial Consultant at the World Bank and as a policy consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank. He previously led data strategy and innovation at ICFES, Colombia’s national education evaluation agency, and served for four years as a Data Scientist in the Policy and Strategy Office of the Colombian Attorney General’s Office. Passionate about building local capacity, Andrés founded the undergraduate spatial data analysis workshop at Universidad de los Andes and has taught courses in econometrics, impact evaluation, and crime economics.
