Trauma Interest Workgroup

Decoding the Complexity of Urban Trauma

The Trauma Interest Workgroup (TIWG) is back in session with the support of the Mansueto Institute for Urban Innovation.

The goal of the workgroup is to address trauma and violence through research, clinical, educational and community-based partnerships. TIWG is about building a sense of community and we need all relevant disciplines to participate and collaborate.

3)      Identifying the needs of the group (think tank style) and delegating tasks via mini-workgroups (e.g., conference/retreat planning committee, website content development, mission statement, creating new mini-workgroups)

4)      Discuss next steps (e.g., frequency of general body meetings of TIWG members, action items)

FOR THE FIRST GOAL, we ask that each of you who will attend to model after the Google Doc template slides (click on link provided below) and fill in the information that you would like to share with the group. Nothing fancy, just something we can use to reference one another. Keep it simple!  Google docs was selected to reduce burden of many emails being sent to one person.  This slide presentation is a living document and multiple people can use it at the same time. Please copy the template and paste it below the sample or existing slides created by others AND THEN ADD YOUR INFO. You can only edit by using the link IF YOU DON’T HAVE A GOOGLE ACCOUNT.  If you have a google account, then CLICK ON THE LINK AND save slide show under your account. If you don’t, you can still edit, but you would have to copy and paste the link each time or save the link in your favorites.
